Project Overview
Vikfix Construction was engaged to carry out extensive refurbishment work on occupied properties and voids for the Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Our focus was on improving living conditions while maintaining strong community relationships.
Scope of Work
Our team delivered a comprehensive range of services, focusing on enhancing both the functionality and safety of the properties. We replaced and renewed kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, tiling, and plumbing systems, ensuring modern standards were met. Additionally, we installed new water cylinders and fireproof doors to improve safety measures. The complete renovation of voids allowed us to convert spaces into open-plan designs, creating a more spacious and efficient layout. We also installed new kitchens, conducted electrical rewiring, and replaced sockets to modernize the residences.
Further improvements included the installation of MVHR systems to enhance air quality, along with upgrades to heating and pest prevention. Safety was prioritized with the installation of fire alarms, smoke alarms, Isomass acoustic systems, and Spacetherm insulation. Our commitment to sustainability and aesthetics was evident in the enhancement of outdoor spaces through garden works and the installation of Hydropave permeable paving.
